Perris Union High School District is proud to join a growing list of schools and districts that have signed the CSForAll Consortium pledging to support professional development for CS teachers, administrators, and guidance counselors; encourage all students to learn CS; offer a variety of opportunities throughout their grade levels for CS learning; and assign a primary point of contact in their school or district for CS education.

Recently the White House released a Fact Sheet which recognizes the work that has been done by various organizations around Computer Science Education. Included in the Fact Sheet is a list of the schools and districts that have signed the CSForAll Pledge, including the Perris Union High School District.

“…we have to make sure all our kids are equipped for the jobs of the future – which means not just being able to work with computers, but developing the analytical and coding skills to power our innovation economy.”

President Obama, Weekly Address, January 30, 2016.

The CSForAll Consortium is a network of CS education providers, schools, funders, and researchers working to support the mission of expanding access to CS education for all K-12 students. Find them on the web at www.csforall.org.
